Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, outgoing, and hardworking Barista / Café Team Member to join our team!
In this role, you’ll be part of a fun, fast-paced environment where every day is a little different. You’ll interact with customers, prepare coffee and gelato, serve food to-go, keep the shop clean and organized, and help wherever needed to make sure our guests have a great experience.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has a positive attitude, takes pride in their work, and is willing to pitch in wherever needed. At our shop, we’re a team—everyone helps with whatever needs to be done, whether that means making a latte, serving gelato, preparing a to-go order, cleaning tables, restocking, or helping a teammate.

Responsibilities
- Welcome customers with a smile and provide friendly, attentive service
- Take food, beverage, and gelato orders
- Explain menu items and answer customer questions
- Prepare a variety of espresso-based drinks, coffee, and other beverages
- Serve gelato and prepare gelato orders
- Prepare and package food orders for dine-in and to-go
- Enter orders into the POS system accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash and credit card transactions when needed
- Bus tables and keep customer areas clean and welcoming
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, tables, and other areas as needed
- Restock supplies and help maintain an organized shop
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Work together with the team to keep operations running smoothly
- Be willing to jump in and help with whatever task is needed to support the team and our guests
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is required (1-3 years)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, positive, and outgoing personality
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and professional during busy periods
- Willingness to learn and take on different responsibilities
- Familiarity with food safety guidelines
- ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification, or ability to obtain shortly after hiring
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Reliable and dependable
Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
